Correct Developer Selection

• 40 Vol. (12%) Developer: It is ideal for lifting your hair up to 3–4 levels, or for highlighting or balayage applications.
  
  
• Note: For the most homogeneous and long-lasting result, you should choose Artègo cream developer.
  
  

Preparing the Mixture

• Use a non-metallic mixing bowl and brush.
  
  
• Determine the appropriate developer for your intended procedure.
  
  
• 1:1 Ratio: Add an amount of developer equal to the amount of dye you will use (For example; 50 ml of developer for 50 ml of dye).
  
  
• Mix thoroughly until you obtain a smooth, creamy, and homogeneous consistency.
  
  

Application Methods

1. Root Touch-up

• Apply the mixture evenly to dry, unwashed hair roots.
  
  
• Leave on your hair for 35 minutes.
  
  
• When the time is up, rinse with plenty of lukewarm water until the water runs clear.
  
  
• Finish the care by washing with a color-protecting shampoo.
  
  

2. Gray Coverage

• Up to 50% gray: You can mix your target color with developer in a 1:1 ratio and apply.
  
  
• More than 50% gray: You must add a natural base tone dye of the same number to your target color.
  
  
  • Example Mixture: 50 ml fashion color + 50 ml base tone + 100 ml developer.
    
    
• Apply the dye to unwashed, dry hair, starting from the front sections.
  
  
• After 20 minutes, you can apply a second coat to areas with high density of gray hair.
  
  
• After a total of 35 minutes of waiting, rinse and wash with a color-protecting shampoo.
  
  

3. First-time Coloring of Natural Hair

• Apply the dye first to the mid-lengths and ends of your dry, unwashed hair.
  
  
• Leave for 20–25 minutes.
  
  
• Then, apply to the roots and wait for another 30–35 minutes.
  
  
• Before rinsing, massage the hair slightly to ensure the tones integrate, then rinse with plenty of water and shampoo.
  
  

4. Changing Color

• Apply the mixture first to dry, unwashed hair roots.
  
  
• After waiting for 25–30 minutes, pull and distribute the dye towards the lengths and ends.
  
  
• Wait for another 5–10 minutes, rinse with plenty of water, and cleanse with shampoo.
  
  

Important Safety Warnings and Recommendations

• Allergy Test: 48 hours before application, apply a small amount of the mixture behind the ear or inside the elbow to observe; if there is redness or itching, do not proceed with the application.
  
  
• Professional Content: The box contains only 1 tube (150 ml) of dye; you must obtain the developer required for the application separately.
  
  
• Metal Contact: Do not use metal bowls, clips, pins, or combs during mixing and application.
  
  
• Area of Use: The product is produced solely for hair coloring purposes; do not use it for eyebrows, eyelashes, or beards under any circumstances.
